Siu Phạm

Biography

Born in Hanoi, Siu Phạm studied Art History and Film Criticism at the University of Geneva. She has worked extensively in contemporary theatre and has made several documentaries with Jean-Luc Mello. Her debut feature film, Here... or There?, was selected for the New Currents section of the Busan International Film Festival in 2011. Her second feature, Homostratus, received the Best Unique Vision award at the Queens World Film Festival in New York. Based in Switzerland since 1985, Siu Pham is also a stage director and painter. Her work has been exhibited and presented in Switzerland and internationally.
